Voices of a Hidden Star

Nana is a young mute girl. One day, she prays upon a shooting star. She wishes for a voice to sing as her deepest wish is to be an idol and make people happy with her singing.
Her wish is granted as she and four other girls are chosen by the star and become magical girl idols. The single condition is that the five girls unite and fight against sound gulping monsters that spread around the
universe, stealing peoples voices.
All is well until an evil witch replaces their memories with fake ones. After Nana regains her memories, she tries to find her friends and give them their real memories back.
You controll Nana by pressing WASD or the Arrow keys to the beat, if you miss a beat, you´ll lose HP. But dont worry you start regenerating HP when you hit the buttons at the right time! This will also fill the Special bar, which allows you to oneshot enemies.
Sometimes its better to stay still for a moment and listen to the beat rather than frantically mashing buttons!

makes no sense, doesn't have a tutorial :(
Hey, I'm working on a beat mapper app for music-based games. It's called MBOY Editor (https://vfpe.itch.io/mboy-editor) Do you want to try it for your game? Vic
this game is hard to play i dont understand it
Its quite hard to play.
ok for the on beat problem all you need to do is move when there is a pink jelly on a dot. the jelly thingys are near the health bar. (:
the idea is fun but the beat is just unclear I have no idea when it is ¨on beat¨
It's a nice game! While the music is pretty loud, that's something the player could easily fix just by turning down the volume, but my issue is that I literally have no clue as to what would be considered "on beat". I tap the arrow keys when I think they're on beat, but I end up just getting misses. The beat is hard to follow, and most of the time, I just wait until the song is over so I can get my health back and attempt to move forward again. I don't know if it's because I lack a sense of rhythm or no, but again, I legitimately can't tell what the beat is in the song.
SO FUCKING LOUD GOSH
just click the title
how do you know what button to press? that part really messes me up because in the end i just start to press random keys
I am so confused and I keep messing up...
I didn't think it was so cool at first, but now, at release, I think it's really nice. The controls feel very responsive. The graphics look mega sweet and remind me of Mario Galaxy. I also like the music and the beat is clearly recognizable.
